We have decided to keep our wedding ceremony and reception adults-only and appreciate your understanding.
I plan on bringing my kid(s), what do I for the ceremony and reception?
The Fairmont works with two different childcare providers that are all pre-approved and vetted by the hotel:
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony will take place outdoors while the cocktail hour and reception to follow will be indoors. Please bring a coat for the outdoor ceremony.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
We have reserved a room block with a favorable rate at The Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Link will be added to the Travel page.
Additional hotel options are available not apart of the room block in the Whistler Village.
Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?
The ceremony and reception will take place on the Fairmont property. The Fairmont offers a village shuttle that operates frequently throughout different stops in the Whistler Village.
What is the dress code for your wedding?

Après Ski Welcome Party - come as you are! We hope our guests are able to spend the day skiing with us, so make it a true après ski and come in your mountain gear. Otherwise we encourage fur coats, Canadian tuxedos, or whatever makes you feel good.
Ceremony and Reception - Black Tie. Please bring coats for the outdoor ceremony. Reference the below Pinterest link for further inspiration.
What is the weather like in the area?
Could be snowy, could be rainy, could be warm. Typical temperature high in March is 44°F and low is 28°F. Check back for more info as we get closer ;)

Will there be an open bar?
There will be a limited open bar (beer and wine) at the Après Ski Party and full open bar at the cocktail hour and wedding reception.
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Your presence alone is beyond meaningful to us. Should you choose to send a gift, a Gift Registry will we added to the wedding website. Otherwise please reach out to Claire and Dylan for the best address to send a gift.
What time will your wedding reception end?
